This notice describes what the website does today. It names the responsible party and where to reach us below.
Who is responsible

Saved on your device only
Your shortlist, compare list, quote basket, project notes are kept in your browser’s storage on your own device (local storage). They are not sent to us and are not available to anyone else. Clearing your browser’s site data, or using the delete buttons on the project page and in the Design Studio, removes them.
Photos and the room visualiser
This website does not ask for, receive or store photos of your home. The “room visualiser” link opens the room visualiser on the Top Carpets & Floors website (topcarpetsandfloors.co.za) in a new tab. That website, not this one, handles any photo you add there, under its own privacy policy: please read it before you upload.
Sample, quote and measurement requests
When you press send on a request form, the details you typed (name, email or phone, suburb or town, your message, the products, areas and notes you added, ) are sent by email to our shop team (and kept on the website’s server) so that someone can reply. You are told a reference number only when the request was actually recorded. If online requests are not switched on, the form says so and nothing is sent. Requests are kept for up to 12 months unless the business sets a different period, then deleted. Your IP address is not stored; a short irreversible code derived from it is used to limit abuse.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
The public pages have no analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or session-replay scripts and set no cookies. The staff management console, which visitors do not see, uses one essential cookie to keep staff signed in. Fonts, images, films, product pictures and the 3D and Design Studio code are served from this website. The one exception is the map on the Visit us page: the embedded OpenStreetMap map may load automatically and shares your connection details with them. See the cookie policy.
Product information
Product names, descriptions, specifications, prices and pictures come from the public product pages of Top Carpets & Floors (topcarpetsandfloors.co.za). We read that public information; we do not receive anything about you from it.
Hosting
Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these files may log technical information needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse and diagnose errors, such as IP address and requested address. The provider’s retention periods and data-transfer arrangements have not yet been verified for the public site.
The films and images
The films and room images are illustrations: AI-generated clips and pictures, or rendered in 3D. None shows a real person’s information or a completed installation.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information you sent us in a request. Email [email protected] or phone +27 31 564 1299 or +27 31 564 8300.You may complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator if you believe your information has been mishandled.
